A Love Affair With Books

Starting tomorrow, Joyful Jubilant Learning will be posting book reviews during each day of the month of March.
These are no ordinary books that will be reviewed. These are no ordinary book reviewers either.

I am fortunate enough (and honored!) to kick things off tomorrow with the first book review. I'll be taking a look at Made To Stick. It's a book that is revolutionizing the way I communicate thoughts and ideas.
A complete listing of the books that will be reviewed and the reviewers can be found at A Love Affair With Books - 2007 JJL Index.
When I look back, I am so impressed again with the life-giving power of literature. If I were a young person today, trying to gain a sense of myself in the world, I would do that again by reading, just as I did when I was young.

You are one of the kindest people I know. So glad we're on the same team. Can't wait to read the rest of the reviews.

Tim, I am so happy to have you kick this off for us! When I think about last September, and how the JJL blog first came to be, I get almost giddy with the thought of what can happen for the JJL community of readers - which in my mind includes all the readers of each contributing author's blogs as well - in the virtual embrace that comment conversation about these book reviews will surely stimulate.
You have already talked about Made to Stick so much, and I think so highly of your opinion, that I bought it on your recommendation without waiting for your review. However I have resisted all urge to open and actually read it so far. Tomorrow I will read your review first, creating the day and the kick-off to our forum in the way I have staged it to happen for my own indulgent delight!
A postscript to Tim's readers: A trivia note for you ... did you know that Tim is the one who designed our Joyful Jubilant Learning blog's banner, AND the banner for this Love Affair with Books, AND the banner for the monthly check-up we call JJL Rapid Fire Learning?
Tim, you rock!
