mynoteIT is Class Notes Meets Social Networking

PostbubblemynoteitmynoteIT is a fairly new, online resource for students that allows them to organize their class schedule, class notes, and group their work in such a way that it can be easily shared and referred to with the click of a mouse.

You can also use mynoteIT to remind you of upcoming tasks, assignments, and leave comments on other people's work.  In fact, if you and your classmates want to share your notes with each other...no problem.  mynoteIT lets you set up groups of people that can have access (giving you control over what's public and private information).

With the overwhelming number of organizational-to-do-type programs that are popping up on the internet, mynoteIT is one of the few aimed specifically at the student.

• Lifehack.org has an online review of mynoteIT here.
• Postbubble also raves about mynoteIT here.
• Screeniac has a helpful screencast of mynoteIT that you can view here.

I found GroupTable.com to be very helpful, they just released their beta. You enter your school and classes and it allows you to discuss things on a class level or within an exclusive group. You can also easily share notes & other documents with others. Its very easy to use and navigate.

This is an awful lot like another web app, http://www.student-manager.com which came out months sooner and has all the same features as mynoteit, plus many more... Suspicious? Hmm...

You might also want to try Notecentric.com. It's a similar type of site, but it automatically links you with classmates from the same school.
